Witness for Suge Knight Hit & Run Case Cries in Court: ‘I Ain’t Snitching’

Cle "Bone" Sloan was asked to take the stand at Knight's preliminary hearing. The prosecutor asked him about what happened and Sloan seemed to get shaky.

It seemed as if he was crying as he told the court that he "doesn't want to be used to send this man to prison."

Sloan also said, "I screwed up and Terry's dead." He was referring to Terry Carter, who died during the incident as a result of Suge Knight allegedly running him over in an altercation between the three men.

Sloan suffered a cut to his head, two fractured ankles, two torn ligaments in his legs and other injuries. He spent months in the hospital, while his colleague died.

Yet, he seemed to be taking the blame for carter's death.

Ironically, what he actually said- that he wouldn't snitch- is evidence in itself against Knight. Sloan said he was only on the stand because he had been subpoenaed by prosecutors.

The preliminary hearing will determine whether Knight will stand trial for murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run. If Knight is tried and convicted, he faces up to life in prison. He remains jailed unless he can raise $25 million for bond.

KKK Members Working As Florida Corrections Officers Planned to Kill African American Inmate

Three Florida Ku Klux Klan members are behind bars today for plotting to kill an African-American inmate.

What makes the story more complicated is that the three men were corrections officers. According to the NY Daily News, the three men are apart of the Traditional American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan .

Thomas Jordan Driver, David Elliott Moran, and Charles Thomas Newcomb planned to kill the African-American inmate on his release date because the inmate had gotten into a verbal altercation with Driver. Driver and Moran had been working at the Corrections Facility for years while Newcomb was a former prison employee. Newcomb is being held on $750,000 bond.
