24 year old guy was sitting on a porch in front of a house in Ancuri district, in the greater metropolitan region of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, Brazil, when he was approached by a trio of young drug dealers. The guy was just chilling, sitting in the shade shirtless and wearing flip flops, casually chatting with his friend with crutches who was sitting next to him. Those were the last moments of his life.
When the three traffickers showed up – two men and one woman – he told them he was just a “worker”, and that he did nothing illegal for a living. Still, to send a message that this was their turf, the young dealers pulled out a gun and literally riddled him with bullets.
Verbally encouraged by the woman who was recording the video to pop more shots into him, one of the three, who wasn’t even trying to hide his face from the camera, shot the man 15 times. His friend, further encouraged by the woman to “unload the gun into his head” then took over the gun and popped 5 more rounds to the collapsed victim.
After he was shot 20 times, the woman still lamented that she was not ready to see the end of it and would like for the victim to be shot some more.
The victim’s name was Fábio Rodrigues da Silva (yup, it’s that da Silva curse again). Since the shooters wanted the video to be seen so others understand their claim to this turf and that they mean business, police got the clear view of both shooters and identified them as Samuel Lourenco, alias Samuca, and Jorge Marciel. From there it was easy to identify the woman whom they learned was one Aridna Lima.
